Converto is a free, browser-based media processing tool. All operations — including file conversion, compression, trimming, metadata reading, and GIF creation — are performed entirely within your browser. No files are transmitted to or stored on any server operated by Converto.

You are solely and fully responsible for any files you process using this Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that:
- You own the file, or have explicit permission from the copyright holder to convert, compress, trim, or otherwise modify it.
- Your use of the file does not violate any applicable law, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or data protection laws.
- You will not use the Service to process files containing illegal content of any kind.
Converto takes no responsibility for, and expressly disclaims all liability arising from, any use of the Service with files you do not have the legal right to process.

Converting, compressing, or otherwise reproducing copyrighted material without authorisation from the rights holder may constitute copyright infringement under applicable law. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary rights or licences before processing any copyrighted file. Converto does not monitor, review, or take responsibility for what files are processed by users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Converto makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Output files are provided without guarantee of quality or compatibility.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Converto and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from file corruption or processing errors.
